Loyalist Township is thrilled to announce the return of the TuNesday in the Township summer concert series! This beloved community event features monthly concerts in the park between May and August, offering free live music, complimentary popcorn, summer vibes, and fun for all ages. We invite everyone to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes to enjoy an unforgettable evening of music and fun.
All concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Loyalist Park Amphitheatre, located at 133 Pratt Drive, Amherstview. The Amherstview Lions Club will be present at each concert, collecting donations for the local food bank. Your generosity will help support those in need within our community.
The series concludes on August 13 with The Kildeers, who will close out the summer with their modern folk melodies and heartfelt lyrics that captivate audiences and create lasting connections. Each member of The Kildeers brings extensive solo and collaborative performance experience, forming a unique partnership that celebrates folk and traditional music, percussion rhythms, and vocal harmonies. Their performance promises to be a fitting finale to a summer of wonderful music.
Please note that all concerts are weather dependent. In the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather, a sign will be posted at the concert location, and an announcement will be made on our social media channels. We encourage everyone to check for updates before heading to the venue.
